i ordered one of the current seasonal drinks featured on the menu, the dirty banana latte, and it was genuinely one of the best coffees i have had in months in san diego!!!! i’m still thinking about it and talking with my family today about how delicious it was, i will most definitely return to this coffee shop and highly recommend to others :)

If you want a proper classic cappuccino, and not over-roasted garbage coffee with a ton of flavor syrup in it, this is your place. The cappuccino is smooth and flavorful, and the owner is lovely. We were visiting from out of town and ended up going back every morning because the coffee was so tasty. This is the spot. Delicious!

👌 Rob, Robbie, and Rob are all awesome. The Banana cream latte is great. The hot chocolate is served with latte 🎨 art so they take every pour seriously. If you are coffee-hopping, restrooms are at Main Street Donuts Deli and Catering as are donuts. So, go there next.

I was told about Rob’s a while ago by my neighbor who really loved it, luckily I was in the area on jury summons (big county court across the street)- and so glad I came during break! You’re met with a friendly welcome and you can immediately smell the freshness of pulled coffee. I knew no matter what I’d order, I was in good hands. You know those kinds of places? I went with the Beehive, a latte with honey and vanilla; two of my favorite flavor profiles. I was really impressed, you taste the quality of the coffee with every sip. In fact, the barista carefully weighed each espresso handle. Not too sweet, just a smooth latte nicely balanced I hope to be back for more, particularly the seasonal drinks!

The Breakfast Club was smooth. Definitely recommend this place. Limited indoor seating. Staff were friendly. Prices were decent. Breakfast Club: 4.5/5

Robs Brewpoint is on point with their coffee! So glad I discovered this spot. My goal for the new year is to support local businesses and what a great start to a manic Monday! I had the latte and my daughter had the Vieneesse. Smooth, rich, delicious. It will be my new spot either to sip inside or to go! Thank you RB!!

As a bit of a coffee shop connoisseur, I have favorite coffee spots all over San Diego County but until now I hadn’t found one in El Cajon. This place is officially my go-to and I’ll be recommending it to anyone in the area or just passing through. The coffee is absolutely perfection. You can taste the quality of the beans and ingredients, not overly sweet, just perfectly crafted. It’s clear they care about what they’re serving. Breakfast club latte is sooo good. If you’re in El Cajon and love great coffee, this is the spot. ☕️
